Pho Show

What is Pho?

Pho is a Vietnamese rice noodle soup, accompanied with sweet basil, lime or lemon, chili peppers, bean sprouts and other herbs. Slow-cooked for several hours, this comfort food has always resulted in a clear beef broth and slim slices of beef and/or chicken.

Pho Show was born out of a love and craving for the soup.

A Restaurant Is Born…

Nguyen, Robert, and Patricia were lunch buddies who all worked as techies for their day jobs in Culver City. They all often wished there were a Pho restaurant near them. Nothing around the area offered the kind of taste that appeased their appetites, and the closest place from them were too far to visit during their lunch breaks.

With entrepreneurial and optimistic spirits, they decided to take a leap of faith and open up shop.

So, on June 16, 2008, they became the first Pho restaurant in Culver City.

Since then, there has never been a dull moment.
What’s in a Name?

Pho Show was coined in honor of the Vietnamese soup and Culver City (Heart of Screenland), the two things that led Nguyen, Robert, and Patricia to their pursuits of happiness.

Come visit soon. Cheers!
